Many of these books could be read aloud to children at the older end of Level 1.<\/p>\r\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Note:<\/span> We have not read all these books. Many are by authors we know to be good; some are titles gathered from reliable homeschooling catalogs and book lists; others are simply books or titles we have come across that sound promising.
